The picture book Nerdy Birdy Tweets is written by Aaron Reynolds and illustrated by Matt Davis and is a fiction book ment for kids aged 6-9. Nerdy Birdy Tweet is about a bird who got an app called tweetster and gets lots of friends but he doesn’t pay much attention to his real life friend Vulture who gets mad and flys away. The next day, Vulture comes back and decides to join tweetster so she can talk to Nerdy Birdy. One day at lunch, Nerdy Birdy posted an embarrassing photo but Vulture eating lunch and then Vulture got upset so she flew away. She didn’t come back for a few days so Nerdy Birdy went to go see her and said he was sorry and then they became friends again. I really liked the moral of the story because it shows that people can get so attracted to their phones and forget about the real world. I also really liked the illustrations because they were funny and cute. Overall, I think that the book Nerdy Birdy Tweets is a really good book and the author and illustrated did a great job on creating a awesome picture book.
