The Chopsticks

The picture book Chopsticks is a fiction picture book meant for kids aged 4-6 and is written by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and illustrated by Scott Magon. Chopsticks is about a pair of chopsticks who do everything together and no one can remember ever seeing them apart. They mastered the basic chopstick moves and now they are learning coronary moves but then they snapped in half! The doctor told chopstick that he just has to stay off his foot and his brother never left his side. Chopstick was getting better and trying was walking again on his foot which changed everything. As the pair was apart, they realized how many great new things they could share together. I really liked this book because of the cute illustrations and the moral which is that no matter if someone you love is far away, your bond will be forever. Overall, I really enjoyed the book Chopsticks and I think that the author and illustrator did a great job on creating a fabulous picture book.
